Lot 9 1886 US Morgan Silver Dollar
This 1886 United States Morgan silver dollar was struck at the San Francisco Mint. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The obverse features the Morgan Liberty head design with the date 1886 and thirteen stars. The reverse displays the Morgan eagle design clutching an olive branch and arrows within a laurel wreath, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR. The edge is reeded.
